A showstopper Carnatic duo performance at Pallikoodam!

On September 5, 2024, Teachers’ Day, renowned Carnatic musicians Mrs Charumathi Raghuraman( Violin) and Mr. Ananta R Krishnan (Mridangam) captivated the students, teachers, and staff of Pallikoodam with their mesmerizing performance.

Every year Pallikoodam invites professionals from various fields – dance, drama, music, and other performing arts – to expose students to the richness of Indian culture.

The duo enthralled the audience for 1 ½ hours, engaging in both interaction and demonstration of various ‘ragams’ ‘thalams’ and its dynamics- portraying the forces of nature, such as wind, rain, thunder, and rainbows.

The cheering and the clapping ended with a much deserved standing ovation.
